Does the coastal location affect what materials you use?
Yes — beyond the paving itself, we pay closer attention to things like metal edging and fixings, which corrode faster in salt air than they would inland, and to sealants that hold up under constant UV and sea-air exposure.
My property is on a steep slope — is that a problem?
Not for us, but it does change the quote. Hillside properties (common in Camps Bay, Bantry Bay, and Fresnaye) need extra base preparation and drainage work, which we account for upfront rather than as a surprise later.
How long does a typical driveway installation take?
Most residential driveway installations complete in 1–3 days once excavation and base prep are done, with a written quote provided within 48 hours of your site visit. Steep or rocky sites, common in Camps Bay and Bantry Bay, can sometimes take a little longer due to the extra base preparation involved.
